Adventures ‘Adventures’ is a catch-all term for all sorts of experiences a character might have in the course of the time in Diatu Magicadamy. They might range from a simple day trip to see an airship dock to a clash against sky pirates over the wealth of the Magicademy. Adventures are a way to find magical treasure or lore from years past, develop contacts with NPCs, find new locations on Ascelion or maybe even beyond, and overall push and advance the plot of the game. Each month, every character may choose an adventure as theirs to embark upon. Listed below are several options, but you may also submit your own title for an adventure and requested length (and silliness and danger). Once selections are finalized, the mod team will deliver a brief setup for you to begin a log. Anyone may join an adventure log -- you can even make it open -- but taking the adventure and posting it means you accept the responsibility for setting it up and keeping it moving once it begins. The mod team will work with you as much as you desire to personalize and customize the adventure for you. This is also a way to influence the metaplot of Diatu Magicademy. Each character may accept one adventure per month, but may join as many adventures in a month as they wish. Please understand that joining an adventure should be seen as a commitment to seeing it through, and manage your time and participation accordingly. Though adventures are not on an OOC time limit, their results do become difficult to manage if they are too delayed. If an adventure takes longer than an OOC month to resolve, as is often likely, you may freely continue it as long as necessary. Adventures carried over from a previous month do not count against your one-a-month limit, and you may continue them while selecting a new one in a new month. To represent their difficulty, some adventures have a random element to them. When you accept an adventure, or reach the part of the adventure where this random roll is required, the mod team will inform you of your results. Suggested Adventures Do note that even if you choose the same adventure from the list as someone else has, your adventure will almost certainly be completely different.
