Rules General Be excellent to each other, or at the very least, respectful and straightforward. Communicate wherever possible and make efforts to resolve your differences. Avoid the RP sins of godmodding, infomodding, playing your character OOC, and blurring IC/OOC lines. Bring any issues to the mod team by PM to the mod account, or by using our suggestions and feedback post. This is so the mod team can coordinate and discuss them and provide responses. Other means (such as plurk) should not be used. Character Rules Magicademy does not allow pure AUs. Beyond that, we do need an application of substance, so minor canon characters may not be acceptable if their applications are sparse or mostly headcanon. Otherwise, we welcome canon characters and OCs. This includes “malleable protagonists” and customizable characters, such as MMO characters. Your character's canon point must be older than one month (in English, if possible). Diatu Magicademy welcomes CRAU characters. If you wish to play a setting native OC, message us and we'll work with you to make it happen. You may reserve two characters each application cycle. You may app two characters each application cycle. You may play a maximum of three characters in-game. Each must be from a different canon. Activity At this time, we require check-in AC only. If the game reaches a size where we believe it should have a more formal AC, or if we believe that check-in AC results in insufficient activity, we will change this.
